ORGANIZATIONS WE SUPPORT

Below includes a list, which could continue to grow, of links to various organizations we support that actively work towards shark conservation. Every donation is greatly appreciated and is a great way for anyone to take action!

My Fiji Shark is an organization run by the Beqa dive masters, who I worked with, in Pacific Harbor, Fiji. Individuals have the opportunity to "adopt a shark" that resides in the Shark Reef Marine Reserve. This money goes to the research and conservation efforts the dive masters conduct in an effort to maintain one of the most sustainable examples of ecotourism in the world.

Shark Angels is a conservation group that was founded in 2007, and has been working towards "turning fear into fascination" with sharks. They've traveled the world, offering free educational presentations to schools as a way to spread positive shark energy. Additionally, they've conducted years of research to better understand how to protect and sustain shark populations.

The Shark Trust is a charitable organization that was established in the UK in 1997. Their efforts have influenced over 100 nations by improving conservation efforts while strengthening legislation that protects sharks. They do this by working with "international policymakers to secure policy change and ensure implementation to safeguard sharks".

The AWSC is an organization that is devoted to white shark research. Their work contributes not only to shark conservation, but human safety too, so we can understand how to better coexist with white sharks. By creating more safe, positive encounters, a better argument can be made for their protection.

An organization founded by four cofounders that desire to be welcomed into the shark science world just the same as everyone else. They embark on many research projects that assist in shark conservation and protection. Their core belief is that "diversity in scientists creates diversity in thought, which leads to innovation", and because of this empowerment, they can make a difference for sharks.
